Here's the first featured plant on this blog, Cotyledon tomentosa aka the Bear's Paw! It has recently been very popular on twitter due to its really cute form and fuzziness. It is native to South Africa, so it thrives in bright light and areas with mild winters.

Meet the Rusty-spotted Cat (Prionailurus rubiginosus)! It is the world's smallest cat at only 0.9 to 1.6 kg (2.0 to 3.5 lb), it lives in India and Sri Lanka, and it feeds mainly on rodents and birds.
It's currently listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List due to habitat loss. The cat in the photo looks particularly upset by this.
